Accepted and respected worldwide for over 25 years, the International Trade Certification® is the unbiased, independent, standard-setting certification authority that validates the knowledge proficiency of individuals across the international trade industry.
International Trade Certification is solely responsible for the development, validation, maintenance and administration of a wide variety of proficiency examinations offered to individuals within the international trade industry. It does not provide training or examination preparation for the tests it offers, but rather works in tandem with training organizations worldwide to prepare individuals to sit for its various examinations.
With the help of volunteers worldwide, International Trade Certification’s continuously updated certifications have become a mainstay of organizations involved in the import or export of licensed goods and services worldwide. As we enter into a new chapter, the International Compliance Professionals Association (ICPA) will now be looking after ITC and continuing the mission and vision sage set by the founders and volunteers of ITC.
Demonstrate Mastery
No prior education or training is required to gain industry certification, though preparation programs via approved training providers is recommended. Experienced professionals who are well-versed in the topic areas may sit for an exam, become certified, and contribute via member-status at any time.

Approved Providers have in-person and online options available, so students can select one that best suits their needs.
